ABOUT SIMY's STUDIO
While taking a look through the pages of our website, we’re sure that you will be gathering a good idea of what Simy’s Studio is all about: a brand built on our love for high-quality craft products, and the exploration of furthering and developing our passion for all things handmade.
We love exploring crafting techniques, writing our journal and creating quality products that we hope you, our fellow artisans, will enjoy using just as much as we do. We are more than just the brand: we’re a group of real crafters who are passionate.. about spreading the joy that surrounds the pursuit of living a colourful and creative life.
Behind the scenes
As a team, we’ve been crafting together for quite some time, working behind the scenes alongside our good friends at De Bondt to bring hundreds of projects, products and patterns to fruition, most notably those involving Scheepjes yarns. We love working with the Scheepjes team and will continue to do so, but with so many ideas and so little time, it felt like the right moment to open our studio doors and welcome you all inside!
Collaboration
Our collaboration with Scheepjes has not only seen us work on many exciting projects and yarns over the years, but we have also worked together on designs within their publications: their gorgeous biannual publication YARN Bookazine, and the YARN The After Party booklets.
Creative collaboration is always a joy, and we’ll continue to work with Scheepjes in the future. We may even share a highlight or two!
Who we are
Founded by a group of dedicated craft enthusiasts, our journey began with a simple idea: to create a space where creativity thrives, and the mindful art of crafting takes centre stage.
Amongst our team, we have illustrators, graphic designers, crocheters, knitters, sewers, quilters, musicians, dancers and artists. To say we are a creative bunch is an understatement! The truth of the matter, though, is that working in the studio isn’t what we do; it’s who we are.

We believe crafting is not just a hobby; it’s a form of self-expression, a gateway to mindfulness and a way to connect with others.
